Cave diving
is the exploration of submerged natural overhead
environments beyond sight of daylight. For those who possess the highly
specialized training, equipment and skills required, it can be a very
rewarding experience. It can also be deceptively easy and extremely
dangerous — especially for those who lack the prerequisite knowledge,
equipment and skills. To date, over 400 divers have perished
in underwater caves. Not one of them expected to die.

CDI SIDEMOUNT CAVERN DIVER
This program provides you with the knowledge and experience required to independently plan and conduct cavern penetration dives within the light zone at depths shallower than 40 meters. You will learn how to use specialized cavern diving equipment, gas management concepts and buddy team skills to safely conduct cavern dives. You will earn the CDI Sidemount Cavern Diver Specialty certification after completing this program.
CDI SIDEMOUNT CAVE DIVER
Cave Diving allows you to conduct penetrations on a single line with basic navigation. Safety is the number one concern, and you will increase confidence by spending hours in the environment with your Cave Instructor.You will learn techniques to deal with problems in this most unforgiving of environments. You will earn the CDI Sidemount Cave Diver certification after completing this program.

CDI SIDEMOUNT FULL CAVE DIVER
The Full Cave Diving program is the highest level overhead environment program, providing all the tools needed to be a true explorer. CDI Sidemount Full Cave Diver allows complex navigation as you learn how to traverse, jump, tee and gap within a cave system. You will learn even more about a lost line, lost light, gas sharing and lost diver procedure.
You will earn the CDI Sidemount Full Cave Diver certification after completing this program.
